Ask The Expert…

Question: I already have a dental website, but it gets hardly any traffic. Can you help make my existing website get Top 10 rankings on Google and the other search engines?

Answer: Unfortunately, no.

An analogy of this would be trying to drop a F1 racing engine into an old pick-up truck, and then hoping to win a Formula One race with it. Just like race cars need to be specifically designed for racing, from the ground up… in the same way, a website must be designed specifically for the search engines if you want it to rank well.

As discussed in this post Search Engine Ranking Factors, a website’s domain and linking structure account for ~20% of the ranking factors, and the on-page factors account for ~40%. Combined, they account for ~60%… and it’s both easier and less expensive to build a website from the ground up, rather than trying to struggle with redesigning the link structure and on-page factors.

You’ll need to decide whether there’s any value in keeping your existing website (and keep on getting no traffic)… or whether you need to invest in a proven website, that’s 100% guaranteed to get Top 10 search engine rankings and generate dental clients for you.
